Looking for next level simplicity? As Maybank suggests, “It’s gotta be MAE”.
MAE, which is short for Maybank Anytime Everyone, is Maybank’s brand new e-wallet with additional banking features for better convenience. It’s a virtual account separate from the primary Maybank account.
Fret not if you’re don’t own a Maybank account, you can still take advantage of the features on MAE. All you need to do is top up your e-wallet from any bank account. You will also need to enter the following details: full name, IC number and other information.
Through the “Money In” and “Money Out” functions, MAE allows you to request money and the convenience of the “split bill” function with the former. The latter can be used for daily expenditures such s mobile top-ups, buying movie tickets and flight tickets, paying via QR Pay as well as other contactless payments.
