How many of y’all still remember Susan Boyle? The quirky singer first found fame when she emerged as the runner-up in 2009’s “Britain’s Got Talent”.
10 years later, the 57-year-old Brit is hoping to revive her singing career by joining the reality-competition franchise again. This time, the stakes are higher since it is “America’s Got Talent: The Champions”.
“‘BGT’ absolutely changed my life. Before ‘BGT’ people saw me as quite ordinary. I lived alone with my cat Pebbles. Now I’ve sold over 20 odd million records – even I’m overwhelmed,” the Scottish songstress said in her VT before belting out the Rolling Stones classic “Wild Horses”.
Judges Simon Cowell, Mel B, Howie Mendel and Heidi Klum, weren’t just impressed with her rendition. They made sure SuBo had a place in the finals when the Spice Girls member slammed her golden buzzer, and rightfully so.
“I was absolutely thrilled when I was invited to perform on ‘America’s Got Talent: The Champions’. To perform for the best boss in the world, Mr Cowell, and to prove to everyone that there is still life in me yet, were the two main reasons I wanted to take part,” Boyle wrote on her Facebook page after the episode aired yesterday.
She continued, “The crowds reaction was unbelievable and to then have the golden buzzer from Mel B.. well I was truly speechless, and it felt fantastic to know I was through to the finals! I hope you all enjoyed this performance! I had the time of my life being back on the stage singing Wild Horses after all these years!”

We can’t wait to see more former contestants reintroduce themselves to the world with their talents. Don’t you think more reality competitions should have an all-star season?
We’re rooting for you SuBo 😉
