Kuala Lumpur was abuzz with the unexpected arrival of Bella Hadid yesterday (Monday, 26th Novmber).
The 22-year-old model was in town for a meet-and-greet event for Tag Heuer at The Gardens Mall. According to The Star, the American beauty was appointed as Tag Heuer’s brand ambassador in 2017.
For her first appearance, Bella paired a silver suit to go together with short silver skirt, serving futuristic realness. She had her hair up in a bun as she smiled and pose for the cameras. There were also large groups of fans outside the boutique store waiting to catch a glimpse of the gorgeous model.
Having just flown in from Dubai, where she was seen spending some time off with boyfriend The Weeknd, Bella shared how she manages her time wisely. “I travel so much, I sleep on the plane and wake up to go to work. I like to take time on the plane to refresh my skin, listen to music, sleep – a little me time in the sky before I go back down,” she said.

In speaking with the Malaysian and Singapore media, Bella also spoke about how she got involved with the the Swiss watch brand. “My father always had Tag Heuer watches. So many people worked before me with Tag – athletes, actors – it’s such a blessing to have this opportunity. I get to travel to amazing places such as Malaysia. I only get to stay until tomorrow but I will definitely come back and stay longer,” she shared.
In case you don’t know, Bella even has a watch named after her. Based on the Swiss watchmaker’s feminine model, the Link Lady “Bella Hadid” is a limited-edition with only 500 watches made. The lucrative watch made its debut in December last year.

Later that day, Bella changed into a stunning Farah Khan couture ensemble for her 2nd public appearance at St Regis Kuala Lumpur. Many of our local celebs including our very own “Asia’s Next Top Model” alums – Shikin Gomez, Alicia Amin and Rubini Sambanthan – got up close and personal with Bella.
Stars like Neelofa and Scha Alyahya as well as Chryseis Tan got to join Bella for dinner. We believe it may have been the American beauty’s first experience eating Nasi Lemak, based on her confusion in opening the banana leaf packet. Meanwhile, the model’s new friends also got her to give Malaysian fans a shout out.
