Lindsay Lohan made headlines again over the weekend. This time, it was for a rather bizarre reason.
In her Instagram Live feed, the 32-year-old actress recorded her encounter with a supposedly homeless family, whom she claimed are Syrian refugees. It is believed that the dramatic incident took place in Moscow, as she posted a photo of herself there earlier.
The American star initially offered a stay at a hotel room to which the family declined. “Do you want me to give you a hotel? … I want you to tell America what you need and I will get it for you. Do you want to stay in a hotel tonight? Do you want to watch movies? It’ll be so cool, right? To watch a movie on a TV, right? Or on a computer?” she asked.
“You should be a hard-working woman and you should be doing what you can for your children, so they have a better life,” Lilo added. The woman refused to entertain Lohan. When the adults and children gathered their belongings to leave, the former “Mean Girls” star began accusing the parents of “child trafficking” and “ruining Arab culture”.

Lohan tried to reach for one of the children and that’s when things got physical. There is short scuffle when Lohan’s phone dropped. Apparently the woman had punched Lohan in the face and pushed her to the ground.
A visibly shaken Lohan was crying into the camera while clutching her cheek when she said, “I’m, like, in shock right now. They were trafficking. I was just, like, so scared. I literally can’t; I don’t think I can ever change what I want.”

Since the story went viral, many netizens have criticised Lohan for jumping into conclusion without solid proof. Clearly unimpressed with her “white saviorism” complex, people are bewildered by her odd behaviour.
