Rejoice Danity Kane fans! After a very public falling out, Aubrey O’Day, Dawn Richard and Shannon Bex have set aside their differences and are reuniting for a tour.
Now known as DK3, these “Show Stoppers” will be kicking off their 15-city tour starting in September.
DK3’s “The Universe Is Undefeated” tour will see the girls churning out songs from their solo projects. O’Day and Bex previously released an EP under their group project under the name Dumblonde. Meanwhile, Richard already has a series indie records under her name.
Richard, O’Day and Bex reformed in 2014 for a new record sans original members D.Woods and Aundrea Fimbres (who opted out). There were reports of a physical fight where Richard punched O’Day at the head during a business meeting. Their album “DK3” dropped 2 months later.
So what brought this trio back together? “The conversations started because I think Aubrey and I wanted to touch base cause we hadn’t in a long time and I think we both, ya know, had feelings of feeling like we needed to have that conversation,” Richard told E! News.
She added, “We’re sisters at the end of the day and I think if you go through life you still remember like I really want a relationship with these girls even though you go through things, you really want that camaraderie and so Aubrey and I had a great conversation.”

“We have been through a journey of a lot of ups and downs but on any journey, ya know, it requires the people involved to not be willing to let go of each other and that’s what we’re on so, we’re super grateful to be back in each other’s lives. To have survived the last round and truly come together as sisters and do it for ourselves and also for the fans,” O’Day echoed.
As for new music, O’Day teased that the group may have something up their sleeves.
