Malaysian-Australian actor Remy Hii from “Crazy Rich Asians” will be joining the cast of Marvel’s upcoming film “Spider-Man: Far From Home”.
The newcomer is the latest addition to “Spider-Man: Homecoming” sequel, joining Tom Holland, Zendaya, Jake Gyllenhaal and Michael Keaton.
Though his role in the superhero movie is still unknown, it will be the actor’s 2nd major movie role after “Crazy Rich Asians”, The Wrap reports.
Hii is also known for the role of Prince Jingim in the Netflix original series “Marco Polo” and Hudson Walsh in Australian soap opera “Neighbours”.
The 31-year-old actor was born and raised in Australia and is the son of a Chinese-Malaysian father and an English mother.
In “Crazy Rich Asians”, the actor plays the character Alistair Cheng, the younger brother of Eddie Cheng (Ronnie Chieng) and the cousin of Nick Young (Henry Golding) and Astrid Leong (Gemma Chan).
“Spider-Man: Far From Home” is scheduled for a release in the United States on 5th July 2019.
