A K-pop idol is the last person you would expect to bump into at a MRT station.

But some lucky fans got to meet Super Junior’s Choi Siwon at the Semantan MRT station yesterday (Tuesday, 7th August). The idol was there to promote UNICEF Malaysia’s campaign.

He was spotted in Damansara in the evening, holding a placard that read, “Be a friend of UNICEF today. Together, you and I can make a difference for children.

Excited fans also got to meet him today (Wednesday, 8th August), as he was one of the speakers for UNICEF’s Youth Talk. The event, which was held in Digi D’House, saw the attendance of actress Lisa Surihani (who is also the national ambassador for UNICEF Malaysia) as well as politicians Nurul Izzah and P. Prabakaran.

Here are some photos of fans who got to meet Siwon:

Siwon dropped by Malaysia after visiting Brunei for the ASEAN Children Forum. Prior to that, he was in Thailand for another UNICEF campaign.
