Any fans of Charlie Puth in Malaysia? The singer wants your “Attention”.

Later this year, the 26-year-old musician will be bringing his 2018 “Voicenotes Asia Tour” to Malaysia. The upcoming concert is scheduled to take place in Malawati Indoor Stadium, Shah Alam, on 14th November.

Charlie Puth

Since breaking out with 2015’s smash single, “See You Again”, and subsequently his debut album, “Nine Track Mind”, Puth has proven himself as a respected artist, with hits like “One Call Away”, “Marvin Gaye”, and “We Don’t Talk Anymore”.

Named after his trusty iPhone app, his sophomore album, “Voicenotes”, was released last month. Puth’s latest record, co-wrote every song and recorded and produced, largely centres on his struggles in relationship and anxiety under the spotlight.

I wanted it to be a story of my travels from the East Coast to the West Coast and how my growing fame has affected my mind in good and bad ways. I thought I was supposed to go to all these parties and be this type of person so I’ve always shoved my anxiety under the carpet because I didn’t think anyone cared to hear about it,” he was quoted as saying.

The New Jersey-born musician added, “This album touches on that, but I also wanted to make sure that these songs, at the end of the day, are fun because some people choose not to listen to the lyrics. They just want to go to the club, listen to the beat, and have a great time. And that’s totally fine, too.”
