VIPs, we have bad news for you. :(
It hasn’t been a week since G-Dragon was revealed to have undergone surgery for his right ankle, and now, YG Entertainment has confirmed that Daesung was hospitalised.
The singer was revealed to have been admitted into the Chuncheon Army Hospital recently. The hospital in question refused to reveal the reason, citing patient privacy. They only commented, “It is true that he was hospitalized. He has been discharged from the hospital now.”
However, just yesterday (Wednesday, 23th May), his label YG Entertainment released an official statement explaining the situation.
“BIGBANG’s Daesung was recently hospitalized at the Army Hospital due to laryngitis. He was discharged after 2 days and has returned to his base. It is not to the extent to be deeply concerned about, and his condition is currently improving,” they stated.
This corroborated with the hospital’s statement, and fans are relieved that it wasn’t anything more serious.
The BIGBANG vocalist is currently serving in the military. He enlisted on 13th March, after T.O.P, G-Dragon, and Taeyang. Daesung began his conscription at the training centre of the 27th Infantry Division and has been serving as an active duty soldier ever since.
