The Beverly Ho-Billies are back, bitches! Do y’all want a “White Chicks 2”?
During his recent appearance on TRL, Marlon Wayans was asked about the possibility of a sequel to the 2004 beloved comedy, “White Chicks”. According to the actor, he and his co-creators have already been in talks to develop “White Chicks 2“.
“Is ‘White Chicks 2’ happening anytime soon? I don’t know, but there’s been a lot of rumblings happening. A lot of people want us to do it. So me and my brothers have been talking. If things go right, we hope to do a ‘White Chicks 2’,” the 45-year-old star was quoted as saying.
“White Chicks” tells the story of two black FBI agents (Kevin Copeland and Marcus Copeland) who go undercover as the spoiled white Wilson sisters. Sony Pictures initially announced a potential movie sequel back in 2009 but that plan was scrapped before filming could begin.
Three years ago, Wayans told Huffington Post that the requests from fans have been overwhelming. “This movie is something that my fans really want. This is a movie that definitely should be made. I’m on a mission to make this happen. I know with all that’s happened in the pop culture and the socialite circles since the original ‘White Chicks’ we can surely knock a sequel way out the park,” he previously shared.
