The latest entry in the Marvel Cinematic Universe is the much anticipated “Black Panther”. With a star-studded cast and Ryan Coogler (“Creed”, “Fruitvale Station”) at the helm, “Black Panther” promises to be a comic book movie, unlike anything we’ve seen before.

“Black Panther” also marks the first time in the new era of comic book movies (AKA Nolan’s “Batman Begins” and beyond), that the world will be treated to a comic book movie with lead by a black actor! #WhatATimeToBeAlive

The film had its world premiere on Monday night in Los Angeles (Tuesday morning MYT) — yes, we’re jealous AF — and critics’ early reactions just broke film Twitter.

RB3 from the Schmoes Know YouTube channel calls the movie “awe-inspiring”, saying that Michael B. Jordan’s “Killmonger is the best MCU villain since Loki.”

Jay Washinton, regularly seen on Collider Video and Screen Junkies:

The founder and Editor-in-Chief of Heroic Hollywood, says that an “argument can be made for Black Panther being the best Marvel film ever!”

Phil Owen, entertainment writer for The Wrap, even goes as far as to say that Michael B. Jordan’s Killmonger is comparable to Heath Ledger’s The Joker. HOLY SHIT!!!!
