Living in the city often means that you solely rely on public transportation to get around, because getting a car is way too expensive. While you get to skip the horrid traffic to work every morning and boast about it to your colleagues, you may not enjoy similar luck on New Year’s Eve.

However, RapidKL has made sure that you don’t have to trouble your friends for a ride this New Year’s, as they will extend their bus and train operations up until 2am.

Foreseeing the huge number of people who will resort to taking the train, RapidKL encourages the public to use their Touch n’ Go cards for a smoother entry into the stations. The public is also encouraged to buy a return token in advance to avoid getting stuck in a long queue.

Apart from that, buses bound for Taman Sri Muda, Subang Suria, Kota Damansara, Pandan Mewah, Taman Sentosa, Terminal Kajang, Taman Melawati, Taman Dato Senu, and Taman Jasa Utama will also run until 2am.
