Many people still call it KL Festival City, but the popular mall along Jalan Genting Klang has been rebranded as Setapak Central for 2 years already.
In conjunction with its 2nd anniversary since Asia Malls Sdn Bhd took over, Setapak Central continues to promote Setapak’s Pride (that’s the tagline) while making the mall more customer centric focus. Since food is a commonality that brings us together, we’ve decided to highlight 3 new eateries in Setapak Central Mall.
1. Boat Noodle

Originated from the floating markets of Ayutthaya, Thailand, Boat Noodle has expanded to approximately 40 outlets in Malaysia alone. Last week, the Setapak Central branch debuted to a long line of hungry customers. Although their menu now includes more food items since opening their first outlet back in March 2014, people still return for the local Thai street foods.
2. IDon

Besides Sushi King and Sakae Sushi, Japanese food lovers can now add IDon to their list. Known for their Udon recipes (Nikku Beef Udon, Mentaiko Udon), the restaurant also offers Tempura (Enoki Tempura, Chicken Karaage) and rice (Chicken Teriyaki Rice, Chicken Katsu Curry Rice). For those that like to munch a little more, we’d recommend the beef ball soup and gyoza snacks.

3. C&C (Cookies & Coffee)
Someone once said, “cookies a day keeps the stress away“. C&C (Cookies & Coffee) is the first food franchise in Malaysia that uses the “grab and go” concept. It’s pretty easy: fill up your bag with as many fresh oven-baked cookies as you can and you’re good to go! Available in the sharing packet bag (RM16.90) and the family packet bag (RM21.90), the cookies include Almond Butter Cookie, Chocolate Chip Butter Cookie, Pumpkin Seed Cookie, Orange Peel Butter Cookie, and more.
As Setapak Central closes 2017 with the theme “A Sparkling Christmas”, there are tons of goodies and vouchers to be won. Details in our Instagram post below:
