There’s truly nothing like seeing your favourite artist perform live. Romance was definitely in the air as not 1 but 2 couples got engaged during Ed Sheeran’s Kuala Lumpur concert.
Last night (Tuesday, 14th November), fans were in a jovial mood to see the redheaded, blue-hearted British folk-pop star live in person at Axiata Arena, Bukit Jalil. Not only did concert-goers enjoyed 17 solid performances (including 2 songs during the encore session), but at least 1 proposal stole the limelight from the 26-year-old singer himself.
While Sheeran was performing “Thinking Out Loud” on stage, a man in the VIP seated area got down on one knee to propose to his girlfriend. We assumed she said yes because they were seen hugging and kissing one another after that. A quick look on social media reveal that the newly-engaged couple are Gregory Eu, 28, and Ashley Ho, 27.
“Thank you to everyone for all your congratulatory messages, sharing in our special moment and all the love! And also thanks to everyone who took all the amazing pictures and videos, you’ve made our moment that much more special! Both Ash and I look forward to seeing you all at our wedding, we’ll keep you posted!” wrote Eu on his Facebook page.

According to NST, another marriage proposal also took place at the venue yesterday. The publication reported that a man also popped the big question to his partner. From the tender, touchy love songs to countless mobile phone lights brightening up the stadium, how could one say no to the sweet proposal?
Massive congrats to the happy couples 😉
