For years, Rowan Atkinson has been bogged down by Internet hoax that he died.
At age 62, not only is the English actor very much alive, he is also expecting the birth of his 3rd child in just a few weeks! The arrival of this baby will be his first child with 33-year-old girlfriend, Louise Ford.
Atkinson and Ford have been dating for 3 years since 2014. The pair first met in a comedy play called “The Quartermaine’s Terms” at London’s Wyndham’s Theatre back in 2013. “Rowan and Louise are over the moon and can’t wait for their new arrival. It’s a very happy time for them both,” a source told The Mirror.
The funny Brit already has 2 children – son Ben, 23, and daughter Lily, 21 – from his previous marriage with Sunetra Sastry. Word on the street has it that Atkinson’s 25-year marriage to Sastry ended after a 65-second court hearing. Since then, Daily Mail reported that Lily had decided to ditch the surname Atkinson and adopt her mother’s maiden name, Sastry.
During the 90s, Atkinson’s role as the funny yet frustrating character, Mr Bean, was a worldwide hit. The hapless character was always seen wearing the same suit, had a teddy bear who was his best friend, and always ended up in trouble.
Congrats on the new baby!
