Read and get badder!
Are y’all ready for Malaysia’s annual book sale? Yuh huh! Start the countdown because the Big Bad Wolf Books sale will be making a comeback with newer and “badder” books at 75% – 95% off.
First held on 13th – 18th May 2009 for 5 days at Dataran Hamodal in Petaling Jaya, the Big Bad Wolf Books sale features all kinds of book genres such as fiction, non-fiction, travel, literature, children’s literature, culinary, self-help, young adult fiction, as well as collectible posters, tin-plated signs, and their own merchandise.
This year, Big Bad Wolf Books promises a whole new experience at the Mines International Exhibition & Convention Centre (MIECC) from 8th – 18th December. That’s 11 whole days! And by “11 whole days”, we mean that it’s literally around the clock because the sale will be open 24 hours a day, amounting to a total of more than 200 hours.
Also, it’s legit cheap. Take a look at the types of books that they had to offer during their previous sale:

On top of that, we hear that bookworms will be able to treat themselves to more than just books during the sale as After You, the popular Thai dessert cafe, will be making its Malaysian debut at the event ;)
A word of advice though! Best to make your way over to the sale at ungodly hours to avoid the sheer madness and please remember to bring a travel luggage for your book haul. Don’t say we didn’t share!
