It’s official: iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus are debuting in Malaysia on 20th October (Friday).
This announcement comes courtesy of Apple’s Malaysian website. The company also confirmed that Apple users can start making pre-orders for both smartphones starting next Friday (13th October).
Several countries (including Japan and Taiwan) have already started selling the aforementioned devices since last month. Thankfully, Malaysians won’t have to wait too long before purchasing Apple’s latest devices. Even local telcos such as Celcom, Digi, and U Mobile have already listed these phones on their respective websites.
Although Apple Malaysia has not unveiled the official price for iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus, pre-orders for the 2 models are already available on local online retailer 11street. As per the website, iPhone 8 64GB is sold at RM3649 while the iPhone 8 256GB unit is RM4399. Meanwhile, iPhone 8 Plus 64GB costs RM4149 while iPhone 8 Plus 256GB is RM4899.
