The claws have come out and there is bad blood between Kim Cattrall and Sarah Jessica Parker.

When news broke that “Sex and the City 3” was officially cancelled last week, rumours pointed to Cattrall’s diva-like demands for being the main reason behind the debacle. In speaking with Piers Morgan during a recent interview, the actress took a dig at Parker and even claimed that her relationship with the other “Sex and the City” actresses were “toxic”.

During Morgan’s ITV series “Life Stories”, Cattrall, who portrayed Samantha Jones, revealed that she never wanted to be involved in “Sex and the City 3” in the first place. “And now, now at this very moment, it’s quite extraordinary to get any kind of negative press about something that I’ve ben saying for almost a year of ‘no’ that I’m demanding or a diva,” the Golden Globe winner told the host.

She added, “And this is really where I take to task the people from ‘Sex and the City’ and specifically Sarah Jessica Parker in that I think she could have been nicer. I really think she could have been nicer. I don’t know what her issue is, I never have.”

When asked about her outrageous demands that led to Warner Bros. cancelling plans for the 3rd “Sex and the City” instalment, Cattrall flat out denied it. “I never asked for any money, I never asked for any projects, to be thought of as some kind of diva is absolutely ridiculous,” she explained.

The actress added, “And that’s another thing that’s really disappointing is that nobody ever picks up the phone and tries to contact you and say, ‘how you doing?’ That would have been the way to handle it. That’s not what happened here, this is, it feels like a toxic relationship.”

Sorry to dash your hopes fans, but Samantha Jones would never again appear on screen. “Me playing her, that I can assure you will never happen. For me it’s over, it’s over with no regrets, I just wish that Sarah had been nicer,” Cattrall declared.

It’s such a bummer that we won’t be getting “Sex and the City 3” 🙁
