Oh my, all our growing up feels just came a-rushin’ back.
If you’re an 80s kids, you’d definitely recognise the name KRU, and know what it means to dance along to “Awas”. Well, the good news is that Malaysian pop boy band will be holding a concert to commemorate their 25th anniversary!
Comprising of 3 brothers – Datuk Norman Abdul Halim, Yusry Abdul Halim, and Edry Abdul Halim – KRU revolutionised the Malaysian music scene with their unique blend of pop, R&B and hip hop. Not only are they a household name in the Malaysian music landscape, they’ve also successfully established their own entertainment company, KRU Studios, specialising in the entertainment and media industry.
The band took to their Facebook page to drop the surprise on their fans, writing, “As promised: The good news is that our KRU25 concert at Istana Budaya, Kuala Lumpur has been confirmed. But as the venue is still under renovation, the concert dates are on 4th, 5th, and 6th May 2018. To add on, even more good news is that ticket reservations can be made starting this Wednesday but only 3,000 tickets are available so it’ll be on a first come, first served basis. We’ll be announcing more information tomorrow. Stay tuned!”
We guess we know where we’ll be going in May 2018 😉
More information to come.
