James Corden never fails to make us laugh.
The television host recently made a parody of Brandy and Monica’s 1998 hit, “The Boy Is Mine”, with comedian Jeffrey Tambor and “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” actor John Boyega. But instead of using the original title, the “The Late Late Show” remake is called “The Boyega Is Mine”.
Pretty clever, right?
In the hilarious music video, Corden and Tambor are seen fighting over Boyega’s love. The clip starts with Corden, who is dressed in a silky silver pyjama, calling Tambor on the phone, saying, “I just want to let you know that he’s mine.”
The 2 men sing, “You need to give it up/ I’ve had about enough/ It’s not hard to see, John Boyega is mine/ I’m sorry that you seem to be confused/ But he belongs to me/ The Boyega is mine!”

In case you didn’t know, “The Boy Is Mine” was nominated for 3 awards at the 1999 Grammys, winning Best R&B Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocal. Moreover, Brandy and Monica’s video received 2 nominations at the 1998 MTV Video Music Awards: Video of the Year and Best R&B Video.
