Malaysian VIPs, rejoice!
IME Asia has announced that BIGBANG’s Taeyang (태양) will be bringing his “2017 World Tour White Night” to Kuala Lumpur. According to the company, the idol singer’s Malaysian concert will be held on 15th October 2017.
Known for his smooth vocals and amazing dance skills, Taeyang (real name Dong Young Bae, 동영배) debuted in 2006 as a member of BIGBANG. In 2008, he released his solo debut mini-album, titled “Hot”. The mini-album was very well-received and it even earned him the award for Best R&B & Soul Album at the 6th Korean Music Awards.
To date, he has dropped 2 full length albums: “Solar” (2010) and “Rise” (2014), which holds the chart-topping lead single, “Eyes, Nose, Lips” (눈,코,입).
The 29-year-old artiste, who is the honorary ambassador for the 2018 PyeongChang Winter Olympics, is set to release his long-awaited solo album, titled “White Night”, on 16th August (Wednesday). Besides that, Taeyang will be kicking off his solo world tour in Seoul on 26th August.
