Metal fans, are you in for a treat or what?
Well known for the technical proficiency of its instrumentalists, Dream Theater, the American progressive metal band, is coming to Malaysia.
Consisting of members John Myung, John Petrucci, James LaBrie, Jordan Rudess, and Mike Mangini, Dream Theater boasts an ensemble of some of the world’s best musicians, having won many awards from music instruction magazines.
In fact, guitarist John Petrucci was named #2 best metal guitarist in the “Top 100 Greatest Metal Guitarists” book by Joel McIver and one of the “Top 10 Fastest Shredders of All Time” by GuitarOne magazine. Jordan Rudess, on the other hand, is considered to be one of the greatest keyboard players of all time by many publications like MusicRadar, while John Myung was voted the greatest bassist of all time in a poll conducted by MusicRadar in August through September 2010. Dream Theater was officially inducted into the Long Island Music Hall of Fame in 2010.
Currently on their 25th anniversary tour, “Images, Words & Beyond”, the band took to their Twitter to announce their upcoming gig at Plenary Hall, Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre on 2nd October 2017.

As at time of writing, ticketing details have not been released. Just a quick heads up though. As far as we know, Plenary Hall has a seating capacity of only 3,000 so there’s a chance that tickets will be snapped up quite quickly!
