Netflix has released a new trailer and poster for “Message From The King”.
Starring “Black Panther” actor Chadwick Boseman and “Beauty and the Beast” star Luke Evans, the revenge thriller was directed by Fabrice Du Welz (from “Alleluia”) from a script by Stephen Cornwell and Oliver Butcher.

The film centres on a man named Jacob King (played by Chadwick Boseman) who arrives in Los Angeles from Cape Town, South Africa, looking for his younger sister Bianca (played by Sibongile Miambo). He has a few hundred dollars in his pocket and a return ticket home in a week. Within 24 hours, he has found out that she has been brutally murdered. Now, he has 6 days left to avenge her death.
“Whoever you work for, tell him that this is a message from the king,” he says in the trailer.

Executive produced by Ash Shah and Boseman, “Message From The King”, which premiered at the 2016 Toronto International Film Festival last September, also stars Teresa Palmer, Alfred Molina (from “Feud”), Natalie Martinez, and “Harry Potter” star Tom Felton.
The film is slated for release on Netflix on 4th August 2017.
