According to Soompi, the group’s new track “Ko Ko Bop” is described as an energetic reggae pop number. The lyrics depict the night before a fateful, unavoidable war and how the boys should be together and dance freely as if no one is watching.

Besides that, it was also revealed that members Chen, Chanyeol, and Baekhyun have all participated in writing lyrics for the track.

“The War” consists of 9 tracks including their title track “Ko Ko Bop.” The album is slated for digital release at 6pm KST on 18th July while the physical album will be available for purchase on 19th July.
