Our favourite Jenny from the block is back with a spanking new single y’all!
In celebration of the 4th of July celebration, Jennifer Lopez has released the full track to “Ni Tú Ni Yo”. Gente de Zona, who has previously collaborated with Enrique Iglesias and J.Lo’s ex Marc Anthony, is also featured on the song.
“Ni Tu Ni Yo” (which roughly translate to “Neither you nor I”) is essentially about 2 people feeling confident in their relationship and not caring about what other’s think. “Ni Tu Ni Yo” is lifted from her upcoming Spanish-language album, which is expected to feature a mix of up-tempo “salsa, Caribbean, and reggaeton”.
The forthcoming record will be the singer’s 9th studio album and 2nd full Spanish album. This marks Lopez’s first Spanish-language project since 2007’s “Como Ama una Mujer”. “I am so excited and really looking forward to this new musical journey and to celebrate my Latin roots with Marc (who is the executive producer of her new album) and the Sony/Magnus family,” she told Billboard.
The music video for “Ni Tu Ni Yo” is expected to premiere on 10th July while her forthcoming Spanish album will debut in September.
