Time to check off more travel destinations off your bucket list! AirAsia will soon fly to Nha Trang, Vietnam with daily direct flights from Kuala Lumpur starting on 14th September 2017.
The new route marks the airline’s 4th route into Vietnam (the other 3 being Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang, and Hanoi) that will give guests a chance to discover the hidden gem of Vietnam.
AirAsia is the only airline flying directly into Nha Trang from Malaysia. The route not only opens up air travel into the city but it also gives access to the people from the Khánh Hòa Province to enjoy over 120 AirAsia destinations around Asia.
And that’s not all!
14 Fly-Thru routes will be in place with this launch, ensuring a hassle-free travel experience for travellers to explore this Asean destination.
Guests can make use of the optional Fly-Thru service connecting to other flights with their baggage checked-through to the final destination without the hassle of immigration clearance at the transit hub.
With this service, guests can now travel to Nha Trang seamlessly from 14 cities in Asia and Australia such as from Johor Bahru, Penang, Singapore, Jakarta, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Chengdu, Changsha, Xi’an, Wuhan, Melbourne, Gold Coast, Sydney, or Perth via Kuala Lumpur.
As the coastal city and capital of the Khánh Hòa Province, Nha Trang brings about a marvellous picture where old meets new with heritage attractions set in a modern city. Most famed for its beautiful bays, this popular city beach offers a 6-kilometre stretch of white sandy coastlines with blue waters that are perfect for snorkeling, scuba diving, sailing, and island-hopping.
Among the other must-visit places include the Po Nagar Cham Towers, home to the best remaining Cham ethnic minority ruins in Vietnam located on a hill overlooking the Nha Trang fishing villages; the Vinpearl Land Amusement Park that holds a Guinness World Record of a 3,320-metre long cable car system with spectacular sea views; the Long Son Pagoda and White Buddha displaying the largest pagoda and the biggest outdoor statue in Vietnam; the Nha Trang Cathedral with French Catholicism influence that is a popular wedding and landscape photography spot; and more.
For a relaxing pastime, take a dip in natural hot springs and enjoy a mud bath or explore local delicacies such as bird’s nest soup, the popular can cake snack, and jellyfish noodles that are easily available on the streets. Travellers should also look out for the annual Po Nager Tower Festival and biennial Nha Trang Sea Festival that welcome local and international visitors into the city.
