On Wednesday (21st June 2017), many of us were surprised to find out that Nature Republic (네이처리퍼블릭) Malaysia had closed down. Their Malaysian website is also no longer available.
While fans are clearly distraught over the sudden closure, we’re here to assure you not to panic. Here is a list of 5 other Korean skincare brands in Malaysia where you can purchase aloe vera gels.
1. Innisfree
Innisfree’s Aloe Revital Soothing Gel prides themselves as being a multi-soothing gel with Jeju chemical-free ingredients. The Aloe Revital Soothing Gel doesn’t just soothe the skin but also strengthens and revitalises the skin barrier with madecassoside. Besides your face, it is also applicable to your arms and legs.
2. SkinFood
Remember the saying, “You are what you eat”? The skincare company believes that healthy skin begins with food. Food ingredients such as lettuce, cucumber, fresh apples, gold caviar, avocado, black pomegranate, egg white, avocado, tomato, and royal honey are used to restore beauty and wellness to your skin. And yes, aloe vera too.
3. The Face Shop
The Face Shop aren’t just famous for their cosmetics, perfumes, and nail polishes. Costumers also flock to their store for their skincare products. In comparison to the other products on this list, their Fresh Soothing Gel is most similar to Nature Republic’s aloe vera gel.
4. Missha
Less than 2 years ago, Mishha opened its first store in Sunway Pyramid. Much to the delight of locals, Missha’s product packaging is more sophisticated. Their aloe vera options come in the form of soothing gel as well as sheet masks.
5. Holika Holika
Holika Holika is another favourite among aloe vera lovers. Their products are not purely aloe as it also includes watermelon, cucumber, and corn extracts. Many customers have recommended their Soothing Gel for soothing their skin against sun burns and sun exposure.
