Dreams do come true – especially for Aisa Senda (千田愛紗) and the love of her life, Zhou Ming Fu (周洺甫).
Mandarin pop band Da Mouth (大嘴巴) female singer recently tied the knot with her Taiwanese actor beau at her hometown in Okinawa, Japan.
The intimate wedding ceremony, which took place at a gorgeous chapel, saw approximately 50 guests in attendance including family and close friends. Some of the couple’s pals from the entertainment industry included Sunny Wang, June Tsai, Lee Yi, GiGi and Vincent Liang.
Both Aisa Senda and Zhou Ming Fu exchanged their vows in front of the scenic Eines Villa Di Nozze Okinawa (a.k.a. Chapel of Five Senses). As per reports, Aisa’s side of the family (her Japanese grandmother and relatives) wore traditional kimonos to the wedding. Her granny was said to be overwhelmed with emotions as she gave the lovebirds her blessing.
During the wedding dinner, Aisa conveyed her heartfelt gratitude to her parents for their continued support over the years. “Thank you for always listening to my problems; for being my strongest support system. I won’t be returning to Okinawa as often and I’m sorry if you feel lonely because of that. I promise to be even more filial towards you, please continue to rely on me,” she said.
After the singer thanked “a humorous and cute mother-in-law” for accepting her into the family, her leading man gave his speech in Japanese. Ming Fu had apparently spent the past month learning and practising the foreign language. Whether it was meant to impress his wife’s family or not, we got to hand it to him for making the effort. Bravo!
