Fancy some Chun Cui He (純萃。喝) milk tea?
Lovers of the milky beverage will be glad to know that it is now available in Malaysia! This means that you don’t have to travel all the way to Singapore – or even Taiwan – just for the delectable drink 🙂
7-Eleven Malaysia posted an ambiguous photo on their Facebook page yesterday (Monday, 22nd May), showing the Chinese word “敬请期待 (Please look forward)”. Today (Tuesday, 23rd May), they unveiled their surprise – the launch of Chun Cui He in Malaysia.
Although the announcement came out of nowhere, it was a pleasant surprise for Malaysians. According to the announcement, only 3 flavours will be available in the country for now – the original Milk Tea, Latte, and Earl Grey Milk Tea.
Beside its origin country Taiwan, the beverage can also be found in Hong Kong and Korea. When the drink started selling in Singapore, it caused a craze – so much so that it flew off shelves as soon as it was restocked.
We’re expecting to see the same level of insanity here in Malaysia, so if you’re not a fan of crowds, you might wanna wait it out.
UPDATE (23rd May, 3:25pm):
