With the first quarter of 2017 already behind us, how many of y’all are still keeping up with your New Year’s resolution to stay in shape? Anyone?

We totally understand if time is an issue, as most gym centres normally closes at night. How do workaholics find time to workout? Well fret not busy patrons, there are a number of gym outlets in Klang Valley that run 24 hours a day. No more excuses to skip gym day now 😉

1. KL Fitness 24-7

Regardless if you’re a gym freak or just a casual gym visitor, KL Fitness 24-7 has something for everyone. The gym provides great facilities that include cardio equipment like treadmills and cross trainers, in addition to pin-loaded machines, free weights, and cable machines. Newbies (with little to no experience) may find group workouts such as Tabata, Stretch & Core, Zumba, Boxing, and Step more beneficial.

  • Address: Lot B-3F-01 Block B, 101 Boulevard, Bandar Puchong Jaya, Selangor
  • Tel: +603-8080 8247

2. Gympark Fitness

If your main focus is weight training, then look no further than Gympark Fitness. According to a senior member, patrons usually consist of old school body builders. Members here generally have good etiquette because the gym owner educates his patrons from time to time. Although Gympark Fitness doesn’t offer classes, personal training sessions are available.

  • Address: No. 38, Jalan Bayu Tinggi 1B/KS6, Bandar Bukit Tinggi 2, 41200 Klang
  • Tel: +603-3318 9455

3. Leanbodies Fitness Centre

Why fork out miscellaneous fees at commercial fitness chains when you can join Leanbodies Fitness for only RM98 a month (RM85 if you’re a student) with no long-term binding contracts? There are no upfront joining fees, you’re only required to pay your first month cost before using their services. You’d also get an introductory session with the help of a personal trainer. Classes for aerobics, Zumba, Hatha yoga, and Pilates are available at no additional cost.

  • Address: A1-UG1-05, Solaris Dutamas, No.1 Jalan Dutamas 1, 50480, Kuala Lumpur (same row as San Ne Deul Korean BBQ Restaurant)

4. Body Factory Gym & Fitness Centre

Cardiovascular machines (treadmills) and the spacious studio (for yoga and Zumba classes) are on the upper floor. Separate shower and sauna facilities for men and women are also available.

  • Address: No.11, Ground, 1st & 2nd Floor, PJ21 Commercial Centre, Jalan SS 3/39, Sungai Way Free Trade Industrial Zone, 47300 Petaling Jaya

LUF, which is short for Level Up Fitness, is another 24-hour gym. First opened in Kuching in 2009, LUF24HR has since expanded to Glenmarie, Selangor (other locations include Kuala Terengganu and Segamat). The low-cost gym specialises in cardio and strength training but there are studios that feature virtual classes all day long. Since this is a no-frills concept gym, do not expect there to be lockers and towels.

  • Address: Lot UG-D6, Utropolis Marketplace, Jalan Kontraktor U1/14, Hicom-Glenmarie Industrial Park, 40150 Shah Alam
