VIPs (as BIGBANG’s fans are lovingly known) are in for a treat because Taeyang (태양) has released a new music video for “So Good”, today (15th May)!
However, keep in mind that the new track is not part of the idol singer’s highly-anticipated solo comeback. According to Koreaboo, it the brand song for Lexus (the luxury vehicle division of Japanese car maker Toyota) Korea’s sports coupe “New LC500h”.
As the new PR ambassador for the brand, Taeyang composed and wrote the lyrics for ” So Good”. In a statement, Lexus Korea said, “We planned this collaboration because Taeyang’s unique personality and image are in good match with the LC.”
“So Good” is an upbeat dance track that features the 28-year-old singer-songwriter’s strong vocals. “You make me feel so good,” sings Taeyang in the chorus.
Directed by Han Sa Min, who has worked with Taeyang multiple times before, the music video (above) is fairly straightforward as it typically focuses on the idol dancing around the snazzy new car. But we’re not complaining, we love to see the guy dance 😉
