Hond Kong actor Andy Lau (劉德華) is on the road to recovery!

On Wednesday (19th April), the Heavenly King took to his official blog to update fans on his health condition. In his caption, he wrote, “It’s you who’s standing in front of me and supporting me from the back! JUST DO IT!”.

While the first photo shows him standing with the help of a walking stick, the 2nd image was taken while he was filming his latest movie “Shock Wave” (拆彈專家).


Many fans also speculated that Lau might appear at the premiere of the Herman Yau-directed movie on Thursday (20th April) in Hong Kong. Meanwhile, some fans wished his a speedy recover and promised to “stay loyal” while he’s on break.

In January, Lau injured his pelvis after he fell from a horse while filming a riding scene for a TV commercial in Khao Lak, Thailand. He spent almost 2 months in the hospital before being discharged in early March. It was also reported that he has been advised to rest for up to 11 months.
