Just last month, Grab announced that the company has expanded to Ipoh, Kuantan, Seremban, and Kuching.
This morning (Wednesday, 19th April), the ride-hailing app stated that GrabCar services is now available at 4 additional hotspots – namely Langkawi, Kota Bahru, Kuala Terengganu, and Miri.
For those traveling within the region with no transportation to get around, you can now opt for a GrabCar ride instead. In addition to this, other distinct features significant to GrabCar are that it operates based on a fixed-fare and passengers can choose to pay either via cash or credit/debit card.
The expansion is in line with Grab’s objective to “make transportation more accessible to everyone, especially in its home-country, and continue to play a part in solving local transportation issues by offering fixed fare rides that are safe, convenient and comfortable.”
