Oh no, another Hallyu couple has called it quits.
Actress Kim Go Eun (김고은) and “Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance” star Shin Ha Kyun (신하균) have reportedly broken up after 8 months of dating.
In a press statement, the pair’s label, HODU&U Entertainment, said:
“The 2 of them broke up at the end of February. They naturally drifted apart due to their busy schedules. They will still remain on good terms as actors and agency junior and senior.”
Kim Go Eun and Shin Ha Kyun announced their relationship in August 2016, adding that they started dating around June. Known their 17-year age gap, the duo bonded over their love for scuba/skin diving. According to Koreaboo, the 42-year-old actor also mentored the “Cheese In The Trap” actress in acting.
25-year-old Kim Go Eun made her acting debut in director Jung Ji Woo’s 2012 critically acclaimed film, “A Muse”, where she won several Best New Actress awards. She recently starred in tvN’s “Goblin” alongside Gong Yoo, Yoo In Na, and Lee Dong wook while Shin Ha Kyun’s upcoming movies – “Wicked Woman” and “Room 7” – will be released later in 2017.
