It’s already mid-March and if you’re in need of some motivation to work up a sweat, Thor is here to lend a hand.
During the weekend, Chris Hemsworth gave fans and followers an inside look into his exercise routine on his Instagram page. “Gettin it done with the world’s best trainer,” he captioned the intense workout session with his personal trainer, Luke Zocchi.
So what exactly goes into getting Hemsworth’s body ready to play the God of Thunder? Apparently a lot. The clip may only be a minute long but just watching it will leave you exhausted. The sweat-drenched workout series has everything from weightlifting and battle ropes to resistance training.
In the video, the Aussie actor strips down to just a pair of black shorts and we see him beginning his cardio on a stationary bike. Hemsworth then moves on to a series of pull ups as well as heavy weights. We even see him crawling on all fours while tethered to bungee cord.

The 33-year-old actor also previously uploaded a boxing training session with Zocchi.
“People see Chris and they think he was on steroids, but he didn’t touch a single substance,” said former trainer Duffy Gaver. “It was just red meat, heavy weights and some protein powder. He crushed every single workout. He simply decided to look like Thor.”
Of course, a balance of healthy eating and working out is the key to looking physically good. “The workout was probably more difficult than the actual filming. My body doesn’t sit naturally that wide so I was consuming many, many calories, proteins, and working out 6 or 7 days a week,” Hemsworth previously shared.
Judging from his chiseled chest, abs, and arms, we’d say that it was Hems-worth it. The Melbourne-born star’s famous physic will be on full display when “Thor: Ragnarok” smashes its way into theatres on 3rd November 2017.
