Need a little help to cope with your Monday blues? How about a dose of Disney magic?
Cue the fireworks cause it’s time for the world premiere of Ariana Grande and John Legend’s “Beauty and the Beast” music video. The visual for the iconic theme song gives us an in-depth peek at Disney’s live-action remake.
Shot by Dave Meyers, the clip takes us inside the Beast’s castle. Grande looks like a Disney princess in an elaborate rose red gown with her hair worn down. Legend, on the other hand, looks regal in his black and gold princely outfit.
The scene starts off with Grande gazing into an enchanted mirror (perhaps searching for Legend). By taking on the living embodiment of the film’s significant flower, the 23-year-old songbird finds herself being surrounded by dancing petals that make up an enchanted rose.
The singers’ beautiful performance takes place right in the middle of the movie’s extravagant ballroom where Belle and the Beast are dancing the night away in their iconic dance sequence. The sparkly CGI-created fireworks also provides a nice touch to the romantic song.

“Stepping into the shoes of an Oscar-and Grammy Award-winning classic is not small potatoes. But with today’s 2 greatest singers – John Legend and Ariana Grande – we are bringing the song back with a new school/old school fresh treatment that shows the soulfulness and power of what a great melody and lyric can inspire,” said producer Ron Fair.
