Phew! If fuel prices aren’t going down, then the next best thing we can hope for is to remain unchanged.
Petron petrol dealer Datuk Alang Zari Ishak has confirmed that petrol prices will remain the same as February. Unfortunately for diesel users, the price of diesel by 5 sen per litre.
Starting today (Wednesday, 1st March), the new retail price for diesel has also been adjusted to RM2.20 per litre (up 5 sen) and Euro 5 diesel at RM2.30 per litre (up 5 sen). As aforementioned, prices for RON95 and RON97 stand at RM2.30 and RM2.60 per litre respectively.
For the past 2 months, fuel prices have consistently increased – 20 sen in January, and 20 sen again in last month. However, it has been announced that motorcyclists will be given free petrol from April onwards.
