Originally used as a form of transportation, shipping containers have evolved into restaurants and hotels, popping up across the country in recent years.
While these steel boxes aren’t necessary ideal to make great houses, they can be utilised for many cool commercial purposes. As such, these containers have been modernised and infused with functional elements to create a unique experience for urbanites.
So whether you’re looking for somewhere cost-effective for a quick getaway or maybe someplace unique to hangout and catch up with your friends on a weekend, here are several container cafes and container hotels that might pique your interest.
