Is there anything Yuna can’t do?
The Malaysian darling made her New York Fashion Week (NYFW) runway debut on 13th February and dare we say, she looked absolutely gorgeous!
According to The Hive, the singer-songwriter was a special guest for Mara Hoffman’s Fall 2017 runway show. Hoffman’s show opened with remarks from the national co-chairs of the Women’s March on Washington and featured diverse models dressed in colourful, flowing pieces.

“With fashion, it has a lot to do with someone’s identity. Fashion designers support strong personalities and enable them to find their right style. For me, my sense of style – how I carry myself, how I treat people, and what clothes I like to wear – is a representation of the kind of person I am. (Mara Hoffman’s designs) suit my personality and character as this modern Muslim woman who believes in modesty and empowering other girls – you can be stylish and still keep your identity as a Muslim woman,” Yuna told Billboard of her thoughts on fashion’s role in politics.
Much to fans’ delight, Yuna, who is also the founder of local e-commerce lifestyle brand November Culture, also took to Instagram to share a short behind-the-scenes video of her NYFW experience. She also mentioned that her favourite part was styling a turban for one of Hoffman’s models.
