SONEs (as fans of SNSD Girls’ Generation are lovingly known), we have good news for you!
4 months after the release of her single “11:11”, leader Taeyeon is slated to make a comeback once again. But this time, it will be special, as South Korean media outlet Sports DongA has reported that the talented singer will finally release her first full album.
We’re not sure how true the report is, but it is definitely due time for her to release a full album, as her mini-albums and singles have always been well-received by the public. SM Entertainment also confirmed that their artiste will be releasing a new album in a simple statement.
It read:

“Taeyeon is preparing her album – when dates are confirmed we will announce them.”
While there is no set date for her comeback yet, industry insiders have revealed that her new song is slated for release by the end of February. Even if her promotions are pushed back, it will most definitely be released by March.
Taeyeon made her debut in 2007 with Girls’ Generation, but eventually achieved mainstream popularity after participating in the OST for K-dramas such as “Beethoven Virus”, “To The Beautiful You”, and “That Winter, The Wind Blows”. She then made her official debut as a solo artiste in October 2015 with “I” and subsequently released her 2nd extended play “Why” in June 2016.
