The 59th Annual Grammy Awards ended with a bang a couple of hours ago at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California and as expected, Adele took home 5 top awards: “Album Of The Year”, “Record Of The Year”, “Song Of The Year”, “Best Pop Vocal Album”, and “Best Pop Solo Performance”. In her touching speech, she dedicated the “Album Of The Year” award to Beyoncé, who received 9 nods this year, calling the “Lemonade” singer the “artiste of her life”.
While Beyoncé cinched “Best Music Video” and “Best Urban Contemporary Album”, Chance The Rapper (real name Chancellor Johnathan Bennett) took home “Best New Artiste”. Also, during Adele’s tribute to the late George Michael, she made a mistake and asked to restart the song.
