FOX has finally announced the release date for the 5th season of Wentworth Miller and Dominic Purcell’s “Prison Break”!
The revival television series is set to air on 4th April and it will consist of 9 episodes.
In the new trailer for “Prison Break”, Michael Scofield (played by Wentworth Miller) can be seen serving time in a Middle Eastern prison, donning a new set of tattoos. Lincoln Burrows (played by Dominic Purcell), Michael’s brother who recruits 3 of Fox River State Penitentiary’s most notorious escapees, Sucre (played by Amaury Nolasco), T-Bag (played by Robert Knepper) and C-Note (played by Rockmond Dunbar) for help, is determined to find and break him out of jail.
“This is very tight, close-ended story, and it’s just constant thriller cliffhanger revelation one after another. It just feels very dense, and (it’s) a story that’s not disingenuous. Sometimes in the old model… you felt I’m flapping my wings a little bit here,” executive producer Paul T. Scheuring shared at the Television Critics Association’s press tour.
