It’s day 1 pitches, and the bellas are back!
“Pitch Perfect 3” won’t arrive in cinemas until the end of the year (December, to be exact), but we’e already gotten our first look at a picture-perfect photo of the reunited cast, signalling that production has gotten under way.
Both Anna Kendrick (Beca) and Rebel Wilson (Fat Amy) took to their social media accounts to share the behind-the-scenes snap of their first day on set. Joining them are Ester Dean (Cynthia Rose), Kelley Jakle (Jessica), and Hana Mae Lee (Lilly), together with Chrissie Fit (Flo), Brittany Snow (Chloe), Anna Camp (Aubrey), and Shelley Regner (Ashley).
The aca-ladies appeared in high spirits and they happily posed for the camera with 3 fingers up to indicate the commencement of the 3rd instalment. While plot details are still kept under wraps, rumour has it that “Pitch Perfect 3” will see these talented Bellas squaring off against another group called Dew.
Several eagle-eyed “Pitch Perfect” fans were questioning about Hailee Steinfeld‘s whereabouts as she was missing from the shot. Don’t worry peeps, the 20-year-old actress already confirmed back in August last year that she’ll be back. According to sources, Steinfeld is currently busy with the award season. She was nominated Best Actress for her work in “The Edge of Seventeen” for this year’s Golden Globes.
Fingers crossed, the cast will continue to share aca-awesome group shots like the ones above.
“Pitch Perfect 3” is set for release on 22nd December 2017.
