Christmas came early for the young patients at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles.
Orlando Bloom and Katy Perry came bearing gifts while dressed up in matching festive attire as Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus. The adorable couple joined families to sing Christmas carols, hand out presents, and posed for pictures with the children.
“This week Santa and I got to spread some cheer and have a carol sing-a-long with some beautiful children at @childrensla! I love the music therapy program there… it lifts spirits and heals hearts. I know for me, music has always been healing. I hope everyone can give back this season in their own way. That’s the greatest gift of all,” the “Rise” singer wrote on her Instagram post.
The pop star and her main squeeze wore traditional red and white ensembles complete with Christmas hats, but the “Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales” actor decided to passed on the Santa beard. The lovebirds also took the effort to visit several patients who were too ill to leave their rooms, including “a mega fan who got a surprise happy birthday duet from Katy and Orlando”.
