Beliebers, get ready to fall in love with Justin Bieber all over again.
For his 26th appearance on “The Ellen Show“, which was aired on 5th December, the Biebs performed an acoustic rendition of his hit song, “Cold Water”, and it left the audience in awe. The live stage has been trending on Twitter ever since Ellen DeGeneres shared it on her account with the caption, “You’re gonna need some ‘Cold Water’ after this acoustic performance by @JustinBieber.” Well played, Ellen 😉
The stripped-down performance, which was accompanied by twinkling lights, reminded us of Bieber’s early YouTube days when he was just a kid singing on the Internet. During the show, the 22-year-old Canadian singer also revealed that he’s not seeing anyone at the moment and will be laying off the dating scene for a while.
Taken from American electronic band Major Lazer’s 4th studio album, “Cold Water” was written by a number of musicians – Diplo, Ed Sheeran, MØ, Justin Bieber, Jamie Scott, Benny Blanco, Philip “Jr. Blender” Meckseper, and Henry “King Henry” Allen. The song debuted at #2 on the Billboard Hot 100, making it Bieber’s 3rd number-two debut on the music chart.
