Nam Taehyun might have left WINNER, but life still goes on for the other members of WINNER.
Leader Kang Seung Yoon will not only star in upcoming web drama “Love For A Thousand More”, but will also contribute to the soundtrack with the HIGHGRND-produced “You (너)”. This song will mark his first solo release in 3 years’ time.

For this special release, the WINNER member worked closely with a 19-year-old producer named 8, who is also under HIGHGRND. Apart from contributing his vocals, Kang has personally written the lyrics for the track too. “You” is reportedly the main theme song for Jeon Woo, and we can’t wait to see how the song blends with the web drama.
In a special teaser, HIGHGRND revealed that the song is also part of the label’s “Working Holiday” project, and is the 1st out of 6 tracks to be released in December. To hype fans up, a portion of the lyrics was shared on their social media pages just today (Friday, 2nd December), and it has certainly caused our hearts to flutter.
It reads:
“For someone who believed that things are always disappearing and changing, that there’s no such thing as forever, the one thing that never changes, that thing is probably, you.”

In the upcoming drama, Kang will act as Jeon Woo, an unpredictable musician and leader of a hip-hop crew called Crunk Soul, who meets Mizo, an immortal woman who is 1,000 years old (Hwang Seung Un). She has been offering her love counselling services to people based on her past experiences, but unexpectedly finds her one true love – Jeon Woo.
“Love For A Thousand More” also stars fellow WINNER member Kim Jin Woo as the quirky Hyung Sik, who is an amateur stand-up comedian.

“Love For A Thousand More” was released via Naver TV Cast on 5th December.
