With the school holidays upon us, families are already making plans for a sweet escape to several popular destinations within the country.
And if you’re traveling to Melaka or Penang, Grab is here to lighten your burden. Not only that, the ride-hailing app is also offering RM5 off your GrabCar ride as well!
Do note however, that even though this promotion runs from now until 2nd January 2017, the promos are only available every Friday to Monday. You can still book your rides on Tuesday to Thursday, but the promo codes will be invalid on those days, and you’ll be required to pay the full fare.
Here are the following promo codes for aforementioned locations:
1. Kuala Lumpur to Penang (or vice versa)
- Flat rate: RM40 (inclusive of toll)
- Travel period: 2nd Dec 2016 – 2nd Jan 2017
- Promo Code: HITCHPENANG
2. Kuala Lumpur to Melaka (or vice versa)
- Flat rate: RM20 (inclusive of toll)
- Travel period: 2nd Dec 2016 – 2nd Jan 2017
- Promo Code: HITCHMELAKA
In order for the promo codes to be valid, Grabbers are required to make their bookings at least 2 days in advance. You will receive the additional RM5 GrabCar promo code only after you’ve completed the ride.
