A 2nd trailer for the Denzel Washington movie, “Fences”, has been released. The movie is adapted from August Wilson’s 1983-play of the same name, and Washington is also taking up the role of the director.
Aside from Washington in the titular role, Viola Davis, Jovan Adepo, Stephen McKinley Henderson, Russell Hornsby, Mykelti Williamson, and Saniyya Sidney will also act in the movie. It will feature a screenplay by August Washington, and Washington will produce the movie alongside Todd Black and Scott Rudin.
The movie tells the tale of an African American father who is struggling to raise his family in the 1950s, all the while also struggling with race relations in the United States. He has to come to terms with the events of his life at the same time.

The original play has been critically lauded, and the production won a multitude of awards, including the Tony Awards for Best Play, Best Actor, and Best Featured Actress. It also prompted a revival play in 2010.
“Fences” is slated for cinematic release on 25th December.
