Behold, The CW’s biggest superhero crossover event yet!
Slated to premiere on Monday (28th November) with “Supergirl”, the 4-part event, titled “Aliens v Heroes”, will also feature heroes (and villains) from “The Flash”, “Arrow”, and “DC’s Legends of Tomorrow”.
Based on DC Comics’ alien characters, The Dominators, the mini-series brings together the expanding casts from all 4 of its superhero series to fight off an invasion by aliens bent on destroying the people of Earth.
The Dominators were created by Jim Shooter in 1967 for DC’s anthology series “Adventure Comics” and are emotionless creatures of the alien empire known as the Dominion, a rigid caste society in which social status is denoted by the size of a red circle on one’s forehead.
Check out the posters for the crossover episodes in the gallery below:
The trailer starts off with The Flash aka Barry Allen (played by Grant Gustin) stumbling upon an alien ship that crashed in the city. The clip then shows The Dominators battling military soldiers, killing most of them. A voiceover then says, “We must exterminate your kind (human).”
One of the scene also sees Heat Wave (played by Dominic Purcell) explaining the origin of his villain name to Supergirl (played by Melissa Benoist).
