It looks like things between Jennifer Lawrence and Darren Aronofsky are getting pretty serious.
Although the 26-year-old Oscar winning actress and the 47-year-old director haven’t made any public statement in regards to their relationship, the pair was spotted oh-so-casually locking lips during a late night troll in New York city recently.
Lawrence and Aronofsky reportedly met while working on a film titled “Mother”. The movie, which is now in post-production, centres on the lives of a couple being disrupted by uninvited guests, and it also stars Michelle Pfeiffer and Javier Bardem (who plays Lawrence’s love interest).
Looking just like a scene from a romantic comedy, the lovebirds were seen holding hands as they strolled down the streets, while occasionally stopping for a playful hug and a smooch.
The blonde beauty was spotted wearing a stylish coat and a pair of jeans together with suede ankle boots, while her boyfriend looked comfortable in a long-sleeve smart shirt, paired with a grey scarf and newsboy cap to keep out the chill.
The couple look blissfully happy in these paparazzi snapshots and we couldn’t be more happy for their love affair. An insider told People that “they’ve been hanging out and are casually dating”. According to the source, Lawrence seem less stressed out dating Aronofsky because he “is very low-key”.
This was apparently an issue when she and Chris Martin were in an on-and-off-again relationship between 2014 to 2015 due to the extra media attention. The actress reportedly ended things with the Coldplay frontman because he was “noncommittal”.
“With Darren, it will probably be different. He does not attract attention like Chris does,” said the insider. Aronofsky, who has a 10-year-old son with his ex Rachel Weisz, “does not seem like a person who enjoys being a celebrity. Jennifer is the same“.
While certain netizens have pointed out the 11-year age gap between the 2, we don’t see this being an issue at all. Age is after all, just a number.
